Our friends from Small Town were going to go to Salt Lake to this Holiday Inn that has a water park in it, and invited us to go with. We decided because of the pocket book to just stay one night, but it was a lot of fun!!
We got there a little later than we would have liked, but as soon as we got there we headed to the pool and stayed until closing. Jders LOVED the kiddie pool. It was a fairly large pool that was one foot deep throughout the whole pool. She was loving walking around in it by herself.
For some odd reason, she LOVES hotel hall ways, and HAS to walk down them herself.
The next day we went to Discovery Gateway. It was so much fun, and the kids had a BLAST! If only the air conditioner would have been working. We were sweating buckets by the time we left.
On some of the exhibits, the older boys were more entertained than the kids. That was the case with this ball exhibit.
Farmer Brown, taking a ride with the kiddos. Once again, the older boys were gassing up the car, not even showing the kids how to do it, just doing it for their own pleasure.
The tiny shopping carts were the best. Jders just looked so grown up walking around that tiny store shopping.
Playing at the water table.
Playing in the bird house.
Going for a boat ride:There was this "produce" section where the kids could pick things out of the garden. Here is Jders trying to get as many carrots in her hands as physically possible.
In the picture on the right, I was trying to get her to say cheese and look at the camera at the same time, and she was sick of it, so she threw her hands out and said "CHEESE" in her sassy 'if you make me do this one more time I'm going to scream' tone.
She really doesn't like that thing on her wrist.
Mozart in the making!
Making me some dinners.
She was smashing her face against this yellow glass, it was cracking me up, I didn't get the picture in time though - of course!
It was a fun, quick, little trip, but Jders really enjoyed both the water park, and the children's museum.
