Jders has been doing this every time that I lay her down. If anyone knows what the heck she is doing, please let me know. Notice she grabs her pants with her fists and squeezes as hard as she can, it is SO weird! Anyway, we got worried that something might be hurting her, so we took her to the doctor. It turned out that she had an ear infection, but they couldn't find anything wrong in her tummy region. I thought it might have been a bladder infection, so we took in a urine sample, but it wasn't that.
She got put on amoxicillin for the ear infection. The last time that she was on amoxicillin we had to FIGHT her every time to put the medicine in her mouth. After the first experience with amoxicillin, she would no longer let us put anything in her mouth, which included baby food.
So, this time we thought we would go about it another way. We gave her the control over the medicine dropper. We gave it to her, and when she put it in her mouth, we would squirt the medicine in. It worked like a charm, and by the end, she couldn't wait to take it.
Some of the time she had to play with the medicine dropper first. She puts a lot of things in her mouth and then lets go with her hands, we think it is pretty funny.
