The Weekend from Heaven or Hell???

Way, way back in October, my brother's and sister's went to help my mom fix up her house. She had come back from Spain, and her house had flooded, and it stunk up to high heaven. So, we all got together to go help her out. From Friday afternoon/evening to Saturday night, we worked our tail ends off. I painted, and taped a total of 5 rooms, with the help of some others. They put down hardwood floors in her living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and her hallway, and we put tile in her two bathrooms, and laundry room. I guess it pays to have 9 children who all have different skills of some sort. I threw my back out somehow, and couldn't really walk by Sunday.

It was a lot of work, but it was fun to be with family and working on a project together. Poor Jders got so neglected that she came down with the flu on Monday resulting in an overnight stay at the hospital on Monday night for dehydration-bad parents, bad, bad parents!
