Friends

Since Farmer Brown isn't around much these days, and because we get awful bored in the house all day, we've been spending lots of time with our friends. Farmer Brown has a friend from high school that is also a farmer, and so his wife and I spend a lot of time together. She has 3 sweet little boys. The twins are a few months younger than Jders, and then she has a scrumptious newborn.

I am lucky enough to have keys to the church, so sometimes we just go to the nursery to get out of the house, and let the kids play with new toys.

One day, the boys came over to our house, and we were outside, and as soon as they pulled up, Jders said "frens!" (friends) then holds up her cute little fingers, and scrunches them all together to show the number two and says "two frens!". They hadn't even gotten out of the car yet, and she knew it was her two friends.

Unfortunately, Jders isn't the nicest person to play with, she's a hitter, and I don't quite know what to do with her. She has pretty much stopped hitting Farmer Brown and I, but she still hits her "frens" all the time. She always gets a time out, but she doesn't seem to mind time outs. It mostly happens when they are at our house, playing with her toys. There is a little girl that lives across the street, that is four, and Jders plays SO well with her. She just doesn't do well with kids her own age for some reason.

Here is Jders and her cousin that is 7, and she gets along with him just great(no hitting)! He's so cute with her, he is playing in a little car with her at an indoor play place.
