This little monkey got SO sick again. She gave us a real scare. She wouldn't eat or drink this time, and so she had no energy. We almost had to admit her to the hospital again. She had a bladder infection again, and this time it knocked her off her feet. We went into the doctor once during the week, and they put her on an antibiotic, but it didn't help it, and so we ended up going into the ER to get a broad spectrum antibiotic shot on Saturday night. Then Sunday we had to take her in to the doctor again to get her checked out, and she didn't have enough energy to keep her head up, because she wouldn't eat.
The doctor there was really great! He knew we were LDS and suggested we give her a blessing right there in the doctor's office. We gave her a blessing, headed home with instructions to call if she got any worse at all, and tried to feed her. She finally ate, and her energy level went up, and she started feeling better. Thank goodness for blessings, and modern medicine. I always think about pioneer times, and how something like this could have taken the life of your child. I am SO grateful to live in this time.
Jders was feeling a little bit better, but we were quarantined in the house, so she was getting bored.
